Check that all six cells are full i.e. between the high and low level marks.

Engine oil
Oil level should be between high and low level marks. If oil feels smooth when rubbed between thumb and forefinger, the oil must be changed.

Window Washer tank and wipers
Keep tank full to be able to wash windows whenever necessary.
Check wipers
Worn wipers leave streaks that obstruct view.


Have a mechanic do it for you!!

Check brake oil and looseness of brake pedal.

Check level of cooling water and tightness of fan belt.

ALWAYS CHECK THE LIGHTS BEFORE YOU DRIVE!
It is dangerous if your lights aren't working after dark.
It's not easy to fix them, so it's best to check your lights early.

Check the following
Sidelights and tail lights
Make sure all four lights are working.

Headlights
Check that the headlights work when dipped and when full on.

Brake lights
Press the brake pedal and make sure both the left and right brake lights are working.

Indicators
Check that the indicators do not blink too fast or too slow.

Hazard lights
Make sure all four lights blink at a constant interval.

Warning lamps are for your safety
If a warning lamp comes on when you start the engine, check the cause immediately.

Door is not shut properly.

Driver's seatbelt is not fastened.

FUEL
Check the fuel gauge
Automobiles need gasoline to run. If you run out of gasoline, your car could be a dangerous obstacle to other traffic. Keep in mind distance and time, and fill the gasoline up early on.

Fuel type
Choose the gasoline specified by the car manufacturer for your car. Using unspecified type will depress the engine, reduce fuel efficiency and affect the exhaust gas. Correct selection is one way to preserve the global environment.
